Why doesn't your office accept insurance? +
At Seed + Spine Chiropractic, we've chosen to remain out of network with insurance providers to keep our care simple, transparent, and centered around you — not paperwork or limitations. This allows us to provide the highest quality, personalized care without restrictions on visit length, frequency, or technique. By removing the constraints of insurance, we can focus entirely on your family's needs and long-term wellness goals, creating affordable and highly effective care.
What payment types are accepted here? +
We accept cash, card, HSA/FSA, and offer flexible care plans for individuals and families.
Why are there no shoes allowed in the office? +
Studies show that shoes can carry bacteria, allergens, and environmental toxins — including traces of pesticides and heavy metals — from the outdoors onto indoor floors. By going shoeless, we help reduce exposure to these contaminants, creating a cleaner space especially for babies, children, and pregnant mothers who may spend time on the floor or rugs.
What if I want to change my frequency of care during my membership? +
When you choose to change your membership to a different visit frequency, your current membership will remain active through the end of your current billing cycle. Once that cycle is complete, we can update your membership to the new frequency of care.
How do I cancel my membership? +
You must contact the Front Desk via email or text message 7 days before your billing date to cancel the membership.
Communication policy +
Because we have a small team running our operations, the best way to get in touch with us is via text. If you are running late, the best way to let us know is by sending a text to our office phone (919) 480-7027. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, we kindly ask that you do so through the Jane app. This is not the same number that texts your appointment reminders.
Appointment Cancellation policy +

We understand that life happens, and sometimes you need to change your appointment. To help us provide the best care for all of our patients, we ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or reschedules.

Non-Members: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment will incur a full charge for the missed visit.

Members: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment will result in loss of that scheduled visit, but no additional charge will be applied.

We appreciate your understanding and effort to notify us promptly — it allows us to offer that appointment time to someone else in need of care.

Financial policy +

We ask that payments be made at the time of service, or as arranged at the start of your care. For convenience, all practice members are asked to keep a credit or debit card on file. We gladly accept cash, credit, and debit cards — including HSA and Flex Spending cards.

Please note, we do not provide diagnostic codes or superbills for insurance reimbursement, but we are always happy to provide an itemized receipt for your records.

If you need support in making care affordable, we'll do our best to create a payment arrangement that works for you.

Philosophical agreement + Terms of service +

When you come to our office for care, it's important that we have a shared understanding of our goals and responsibilities.

At its core, health is more than just the absence of symptoms or disease — it's the state of optimal physical, mental, and social well-being. The nervous system, especially the spine, plays a central role in how the body functions. When its tone, tension, or alignment is altered, communication throughout the body can be disrupted. This interference is known as a vertebral subluxation.

The purpose of the chiropractic adjustment in our office is to support your body in correcting these subluxations, helping to restore clear communication and optimize your natural expression of health. We focus solely on the nervous system and vertebral subluxations — we do not diagnose or treat specific diseases.

If during your assessment we notice something outside the scope of chiropractic care, we will inform you and refer you to the appropriate healthcare provider. Our goal is always to support your body's innate ability to heal, adapt, and thrive.
