Dr. Kat at Seed + Spine

A Little Bit About Me

Hi, I'm Dr. Kat Ryan — a chiropractor, birth doula, wife, and proud mama of two. I'm passionate about supporting families through pregnancy, postpartum, and childhood with gentle, nervous system–focused chiropractic care.

My background as a doula naturally complements this work, allowing me to approach each family with a deeper understanding of the physical, emotional, and energetic shifts that come with these seasons of life.

I believe that when the nervous system is calm and connected, the body can grow, heal, and thrive the way it's meant to. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where families feel seen, supported, and empowered — from the very first adjustment to all the milestones along the way.

The Nervous System is Everything

As a chiropractor and mama, I believe true wellness begins within the nervous system — the body's communication center that connects and coordinates every function of life. When the nervous system is calm and balanced, the body can adapt, grow, and heal as it was designed. My care focuses on supporting that connection through gentle, intentional adjustments that nurture both mom and baby. Whether it's preparing for birth, easing a little one's transitions, or bringing a family peace — my goal is to create the space where every member is heard, supported and aligned from the inside out.

Why Seed + Spine?

Seed

Growth begins within. Just as every seed holds the innate wisdom to grow, every body contains the potential to thrive. Seed represents the beginning of life — pregnancy, postpartum, and the early days of your little one's journey.

Spine

Your nervous system is housed within the spine — it's the communication center that connects and coordinates every function of life. When the spine is aligned, the nervous system can do what it was designed to do: help your body adapt, heal, and thrive.

Together, they represent the foundation of wellness — where growth and alignment meet.
